- Mississippi Valley AGC and MVD utilize Issue Resolution Committees composed of AGC and Corps personnel to resolve complicated issues
- The Executive Vice President of Mississippi Valley AGC is a retired Corps of Engineers employee with over 34 years of federal service (31 years with the Corps of Engineers including 16 years with the Mississippi Valley Division) who has lengthy experience in working with
all the Corps Districts in the Valley as well as a broad knowledge of Corps
procedures and federal regulations.
Networking/Partnering
- Mississippi Valley AGC typically has about 100 representatives

from the Corps of Engineers in attendance at its annual meeting from 3 Division offices and 10 District offices. Friday mornings are set aside for remarks and information sharing by the Corps Commanders of HQUSACE, MVD, and the MVD Districts.
- The AGC Federal Contractors Conference is the only national conference that brings contractors from across the nation and federal commanders and leaders in Washington D.C. together to discuss latest issues and produce real solutions for federal contractors.
- Whether you are a contractor seeking an opportunity to meet a Corps representative or a supplier or vendor seeking an opportunity to meet a contractor, networking opportunities such as receptions and golf outings are provided at our annual and mid-year meetings.
- Mississippi Valley AGC periodically hosts partnering meetings with the Mississippi Valley Division, Corps of Engineers (latest in October 2007) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (latest in October 2006).

HOW TO JOIN
Mississippi Valley AGC offers two classes of membership, Regular and Associate. Regular members are general contractors who actually bid and perform construction while Associate Members are firms allied with the construction industry that do not bid and perform construction such as bonding and insurance companies, equipment sales and rental firms, rock and material suppliers, accounting/law firms, etc.
Membership in Mississippi Valley AGC also requires membership and payment of dues to National AGC. Firms that are already a member of another AGC chapter and paying national dues through that chapter will not pay national dues through Mississippi Valley AGC. Annual branch dues are computed and billed in accordance with the current Branch Dues Structure.
To apply for membership in Mississippi Valley AGC, complete the appropriate membership application form, Membership Application Form (Regular Member) or Membership Application Form (Associate Member), and mail the completed application along with a check for Branch dues and national dues to: Mississippi Valley Branch, AGC, 9049 Corporate Gardens Drive, Suite 102, Germantown, TN, 38138. Regular members will be billed for Volume Dues as work within the Branch’s jurisdiction is awarded to the member.
